Get Your Coffee Art On!
Ready to try a super unique way to make collages?
All you need is coffee, paper, and that creative spark! Here's how it works:
Brew Your Paint:
Forget fancy art supplies! Grab some jar of coffee (like Nescafe) and a tiny bit of water. Mix them until you have a thick, almost gritty "paint."
You can mix coffee to make thin paint also. Spill this coffee mix onto watercolor paper and let it stain the paper with its free flow.
Tip: Sprinkle some coffee into wet paper and wait for the surprising look in your artwork.
Embrace the Stains:
This is where it gets fun!
Splash, drip, and brush your coffee paint onto the paper.
The stains and textures you create are the whole point.
Spill your coffee cup on watercolor paper.
I give you permission!
The Scrapbook Touch:
Once your coffee art dries, start adding pops of color and pattern with sumi ink, crayons , charcoal sticks, pieces of scrapbook paper.
Old magazines, patterned napkins – anything goes!
Why It's Awesome:
The Smell!
Who doesn't love the smell of coffee? It makes the whole process extra cozy.
Texture Time:
Coffee creates amazing textures you can't get from regular paints.
Upcycling Magic:
Perfect way to use up those old scraps of paper lying around.

Changing States:
Think beyond dry paper and liquid paint!
What happens if you try your coffee stain technique on slightly dampened paper, or layer watercolors over your dried coffee washes?
